The Indiana Fever is an affiliate of the Indiana Pacers basketball team. They are an affiliate of the NBA's Indiana Pacers. They are made up of players who go by the nickname Freddy Fever. They must have played one season with the Indiana Fever before they can be added to the team. But, you don’t have to love basketball to support the team. Fans should support Indiana Fever for many reasons.

Indiana Fever is an American professional women's basketball club that has won one WNBA champion. The team has been a perennial contender for the playoffs for the past 12 season. 2009 saw the Fever's best season, reaching the finals. They lost the series against Atlanta, but won two games in a row to advance to the WNBA Finals. The Fever won 2012's championship.

In their history, only one championship was won by The Fever. In 2011, they made eight straight postseason appearances. But they couldn't advance beyond the first round. They lost to the Minnesota Lynx, who were defeated in the finals by the Fever after Katie Douglas tore her ACL during Game 2 of the series. However, the Fever enjoyed much success after that season under Lin Dunn (legendary head coach) and Herb Simon (team owner).
