WNBA drafts

Despite the fact that the Chicago Sky were silent during the most recent WNBA drafts (which were held on March 7th), local players were selected in the first round. The Dallas Wings selected Veronica Burton from Northwestern as the seventh overall selection. The Dallas Wings selected her seventh overall pick. Trades

These moves included the trade of Alaina Coates to Minnesota and the acquisition of Astou Ndour and Kaitlin Lou Samuelson from Dallas. They also traded their 16th pick from the 2021 Draft, as well as a second-rounder in 2022.

The Chicago Sky have announced their game broadcast schedule for the 2021 season. Five regular season games will be broadcast by the team on CW26. Lisa Byington will play-by-play and Meghan McKeown will color analyze. Five games will be broadcast on My Michiana in South Bend.

The Chicago Sky have a vibrant fan base that celebrates the team's accomplishments and strives to make the city a better place. Thousands of Sky fan turned out to support the team when they won the 2015 WNBA Championship. This was a heartwarming community celebration and a great way to build community spirit.
