
The United States women’s National Team (USWNT), is a strong team that includes talented young players. These include Taryn Torres, Julie Moultrie, Jaedyn Shaw, Megan Rapinoe, and Megan Rapinoe. These players will help the USWNT get to the quarterfinals. However, their experience and potential is lacking compared to the experience of their teammates.
Taryn Torres
Torres' recent selection to the U.S. Women's National Team represents a significant step in the right direction. The 18-year-old forward has a strong shot and is very hardworking. She has participated in four Challenge Cup games and three league games. Gotham FC picked her 2021 draft pick, but she chose to continue her college education at the University of Virginia. During her college career, she was awarded four All-ACC honors. She also participated in the U-20 team that competed in the 2018 FIFA World Cup. Jene Baclawski is Torres' technical director. Baclawski is also the head of the Visa SheBelieves Cup MVP selection panel.
Torres scored Torres's opening goal in the U.S. Women's National Team's victory against Nicaragua. The goal was crucial for the U.S. football program. In the team's 2-0 win against Nicaragua, Torres also scored the second goal.
Julie Moultrie
Olivia Moultrie, a US Women's Youth National Team member, has been selected to compete in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Moultrie became last month the youngest player to record a goal in NWSL. She played in eight matches for Thorns FC over the 2022 season. She contributed two goals to and two assists.

U-20 WYNT players proved to be valuable for U.S. teams, winning the last edition with a 44-1 goal differential. They didn’t concede until the final game. Mia Fishel won Golden Ball as the tournament's best player. Three other players with international experience made the team. Brianna Pito and Talia DelaPeruta scored at most three goals.
Jaedyn Shaw
Jaedynshaw has made a positive impact on the USWNT-20 team. While on a training camp for French women's soccer, she scored two goals in three matches. She is expected join the U20 World Cup roster. She recently signed with San Diego Wave. She will join Alex Morgan as well as Abby Dahlkemper, her teammates. She will be working under the guidance of former USWNT coach Jill Ellis.
Jaedyn D. Shaw, a forward was selected for the U-20 Women's National Team. The team also includes Shaw, a youth player from Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League. Olivia Moultritrie, who is a professional defender, makes up the midfielder of this team.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe, who has 96 caps for the USA, is missing from the United States Women's National Team's squad with an injury. The injury was sustained by the forward while she was training at U.S. Soccer National Training Center Carson in California. Rapinoe was able to return home after the injury and will continue her recovery. The USWNT will play France on February 8 and England on February 13.
Rapinoe is the USWNT's face and has been key to their recent success. She grew to be a volleyball player in Redding (California) with her twin sisters and older brother. She has scored big goals for the United States, including at the World Cup 2013. Her winning goal was in a 3-2 win against Nigeria.

United States Women's National Team
The United States Women's National Team 20 is a soccer team for young girls in the United States. It is managed by U.S. Soccer and is comprised of talented women soccer players from all across the country. The team has played in many international competitions and has won a number of soccer tournaments.
Sunday sees the start of the U-20 World Cup with the USA playing the Netherlands. The broadcast of the game will be carried on FS1. On Wednesday, a match between Japan and the USA will take place. Each team has lost one game. However, they will be trying for a better result.
