After travel restrictions prevented the bout being held in May due to travel restrictions, the ONE Championship's atomweight grand prize has been rescheduled for Sept. 3. The event will still feature the strawweight title fight and a quarterfinal round of the ONE Championship atomweight championship.

Alesha Zappitella (defending champion atomweight) is the Invicta FC champion. The former strawweight has been on four consecutive wins and is now considered one of the top-ranked atomweights worldwide. She is known for her solid hands and grappling prowess. She trains at Scorpio Fighting System, but has also previously trained at Knoxville MMA (Strongstyle MMA) and Knoxville MMA.
Xiong Jing Nan
Xiong Jing Nan is currently the reigning ONE Women's Strawweight World Champion. Tiffany Teo was the first to stop her in 2018, and she won the title. She has won six more titles, including a win over Angela Lee last season. Xiong recently declared her plans to downgrade to atomweight.
Stamp Fairtex
Atomweight Stamp Fairtex won in under 30 seconds her first match and continued on her Muaythai career. She fought 80 times in the sport, and won a lot of titles. Stamp's ONE Championship debut was marked by the most impressive performance in tournament history. She was six years old when she started Muay Thai.
Ayaka Hamasaki
Ayaka Hayashi is one the most dominant fighters within the atomweight division. Her recent fights include wins over Seika Izawa and Emi Fujino. She has won three consecutive fights, and is undefeated at nine other bouts. She has a professional record of 23 wins and five defeats. She has also won 3 fights by stoppage. Her average fight length of 2.2 minutes.
Magdalena Czaban
The rising Polish star is one of the top prospects in MMA. Czaban, who stands at 155 cm is the former Junior Atomweight World Champion. She has proved that MMA can be a wonderful place to succeed.
Alesha Zappitella
Megan Anderson once took a photo with Alesha Zapitelli, an atomweight. She revealed that Anderson is over a foot taller then Zappitelli. Anderson's height may seem not surprising, but Anderson's weight-cutting techniques are impressive. Anderson once lost 170 lbs to 146 lbs in one week.
