Marta Vieira da Silva is a Brazilian professional footballer. She was born in 1986 on 19 February. She plays forward for the Orlando Pride in the NWSL, and the Brazilian National Team. She was named FIFA World Player-of-the Year six times, five consecutively. Marta is now the most prolific goal scorer ever in the history and evolution of the sport. Marta, despite her extraordinary achievement, continues to be controversial and is subject to many controversies.


Homare Sawa

Homare Sawa was a former Japanese professional footballer who became one of history's most respected midfielders. His career spanned nearly 20 years. Sawa, who was born on 6 September 1978, played at a variety of positions for the Japan national team. In fact, she is considered one of the greatest female footballers ever, having earned 205 caps. In her playing career, Sawa played for both the Nippon TV Beleza and the INAC Kobe Leonessa, earning local fame. When she scored a hat-trick and led the Japanese team to a silver medal at the 2011 World Cup her fame skyrocketed.

Vivianne Miedema

Vivianne Miedema was the Dutch national team's senior debutant in September 2013. On June 5, 2019, she had scored 60 goal for her country. This made her the second most prolific goal scorer of the league's entire history. Her impressive career saw her play for many different clubs in the Netherlands including Heerenveen. In the 2012/13 UEFA Women's European Championship, she scored 24 goals in as many games. In 2013/14, she played for a side that finished second in the BeNe League and she scored 41 goals in just 26 appearances. Despite her efforts, she did not make it to the Ballon d'Or Finalists or FIFPRO World XI.

Megan Rapinoe

Megan Rapinoe is not only an amazing pitch coach, but she is also a powerful advocate of equality and social justice. She has been a Twitter sparring partner of President Donald Trump and supports the taking the Knee campaign against racial inequality. She sat down during the national anthem in September 2016 during a match against Thailand. After the 2016 Olympics she was removed from team because she kneeled during the anthem once more.

Alex Morgan

Alexandra Morgan Carrasco of America is a professional soccer player. She plays as a forward and captains San Diego Wave FC, which is the highest division in women's pro soccer. She is also an American women's national soccer player. Morgan is the son of a former football player. She has been an active participant in the community since her childhood, and has played soccer all her life.

Julie Rodman

New Zealand and Australia are hosting the 2023 FIFA World Cup. It is also the year of the 2024 Olympics. Through the CONCACAF W Championship, the USA must qualify for these events. But, to qualify for these events, the USA must first win the CONCACAF Women's Championship Olympic qualifier. Rodman is just one of many women's soccer players who have won the Olympics.
