Alex Morgan was injured and has been ruled out from the friendlies against England/Spain. Vlatko andonovski, the coach of the USWNT, has released the 24-player roster. The matches will be played in London on Oct. 7, and in Pamplona on Oct. 14, respectively. Both teams qualify for the 2023 World Cup, Australia.

Carli Lloyd

Carli Lloyd is one among the greatest goal scorers in US women’s football history. She is a USWNT veteran with three14 caps. If she plays in both South Korean friendlies, she could earn even more. Her career is not without controversy, having been marred by her split with longtime trainer James Galanis and a major injury. She is also one of the most highly-paid players in the women's sport.

Alyssa Thompson

Alyssa Thomson is one the brightest American players. She has the technical control and speed to defeat defenders in one on one duels. Tracey Kelly, the US women’s national team's coach, was able to recognize her talent. Kevins remembers the 13-year-old Thompson when she was scouting a club in Southern California. She encountered a forward who was "brave", "resilient" and "brave" in that game. Today, Thompson is a member of the US women's national team.

Tobin Heath

Tobin Heath is a forward who has recently been selected to the US women's soccer team roster. She is a standout soccer player, who has represented both the North Carolina Tar Heels (USA) and the United States. United States Soccer Federation has referred to Heath as "perhaps the USA's best player." She was named Athlete of the Year in 2016 by US Soccer.

Hope Solo

Hope Solo has been controversial in the women's football world. She left behind a complex legacy. She is considered one of America's greatest goalkeepers. Solo has played in 202 games for the U.S. and holds a record with 152 clean sheets. Solo is also well-known for her controversial opinions.

Tobin Naeher

The United States women’s soccer team is now in the final stages for their World Cup qualification campaign. Tobin Nasser was a surprise pick, but she's been a valuable member of this team. She played every minute and made four saves during the 2-1 victory over France. Naeher also stopped Steph Haughton's attempted penalty kick save in semis.

Canadian players accused Christiana Pedersen (referee) of bias following a recent controversy in the US women’s soccer match against Canada. The Canadians were upset after Pedersen awarded a penalty to the United States in the 80th minute for holding the ball in the penalty area. Pedersen, who is also a former World Cup referee, was not immediately available for comment.

Megan Rapinoe

Megan Rapinoe is a constant presence for the United States women’s national team for more than a decade. The forward is a force on and off-the field. Growing up in Redding California, she played volleyball along with her twin sister and brother. Rapinoe, who scored two goals for the United States at the 2012 World Cup, and another one in 2015, has been a huge success in recent times.
