
The United States women’s team (USWNT), features a strong roster featuring talented young players. Megan Rapinoe (and Taryn) Torres (and Julie Moultrie), Jaedynshaw (and Megan Rapinoe) are just a few of the talented young players. These players are able to help the USWNT make it to the quarterfinals. But their potential and experience are far less than those of their teammates.
Taryn Torres
Torres' recent appointment to the U.S. Women's National Team was a major step forward in her career. The versatile forward at 18 years old is an excellent player, with a great shot and a high work rate. She has played in four Challenge Cup games, and she has already participated in three league games. Gotham FC selected her 2021 draft pick. However, she chose to finish her college degree at the University of Virginia. She earned four All-ACC honors during her college career. She was also part U-20's 2018 FIFA World Cup squad. Jene Baclawski, the former technical director of South Texas Youth Soccer Association, will be Torres' coach. Baclawski also heads the Visa SheBelieves Cup MVP selection committee.
Torres scored Torres's opener goal for U.S. Women's National Team vs Nicaragua last week. It was a significant goal for U.S. soccer. She also scored the second goal for the U.S. women in the team's 2-0 win over Nicaragua.
Julie Moultrie
Olivia Moultrie, a US Women's Youth National Team member, has been selected to compete in the 2022 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup. Moultrie was the youngest player to score an NWSL goal last month. In the 2022 season, Moultrie played eight games for Thorns FC and contributed two goals and two assists.

U-20 WYNT athletes have been a valuable asset for the U.S team. They won the last edition with an impressive 44-1 goal differential. They didn't concede until the championship game, and Mia Fishel won the Golden Ball for best player of the tournament. The team also included three other international players. Brianna Pito and Talia DelaPeruta scored at most three goals.
Jaedyn Shaw
Jaedyn shaw has been a major player on the USWNT - U20 squad. While on a training camp for French women's soccer, she scored two goals in three matches. She is expected join the U20 World Cup roster. She recently signed with the San Diego Wave, and will be joining teammates Alex Morgan and Abby Dahlkemper. She will be working alongside Jill Ellis (ex-USWNT coach).
Jaedynshaw, a forward, was named to the U-20 women's national team roster. Three youth club players are included on the team, including Shaw from the Washington Spirit of National Women's Soccer League. Olivia Moultritrie, who is a professional defender, makes up the midfielder of this team.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe is out with injury from the United States Women’s National Team. She has 96 caps. The injury was sustained by the forward while she was training at U.S. Soccer National Training Center Carson in California. Rapinoe was able to return home after the injury and will continue her recovery. The USWNT will take on France on February 8, while England takes on England on February 13.
Rapinoe has become the face of USWNT and has been instrumental to their recent success. She grew up playing volleyball with her older brother and twin sister in Redding. She has been a big part of the United States' success, including at the World Cup 2013 in which she scored the winning goal in a 3-1 victory over Nigeria.

United States Women’s National Team
The United States Women's National Team U-20 is a soccer club for young women in the United States. It is run by U.S. soccer and is made up talented female soccer players across the country. The team has competed in many international tournaments and won several soccer tournaments.
Sunday sees the start of the U-20 World Cup with the USA playing the Netherlands. The game will air on FS1. The match between Japan & USA will take place on Wednesday. Each team has already won one of their games, but each team will try to win this game.
