
The United States women’s hockey team is one in the most successful international teams. They've won four Women's World Cup titles, four Olympic gold medals, and nine CONCACAF Gold Cups. All of the top players are represented on this roster, including Morgan and Lloyd, Alyssa Trompeter, and Tobin Heatingh.
Morgan
Alex Morgan was injured and has been ruled out from the friendlies against England/Spain. Vlatko Andreinski, coach of the USWNT has released the 24-player roster. The matches will take place in London on October 7, and Spain on October 14, in Pamplona. Both teams have qualified for the 2023 World Cup Australia.
Carli Lloyd
Carli Lloyd is a top goal scorer in US women's soccer history. She has three14 caps for the USWNT and can earn more if she plays both friendlies against South Korea. Her career has not been without controversy. It was marred by her split from James Galanis (longtime trainer) and a major accident. She is also the highest-paid female player in the game.

Alyssa Thompson
Alyssa Thomson is one the brightest American players. She possesses the technical control and pace to beat defenders in one-on-one duels. Tracey Kevins was the coach for the US women's U-20 national team. Kevins remembers Thompson as a 13-year old when she was scouting for a club in Southern California. She encountered a forward who was "brave", "resilient" and "brave" in that game. Thompson is currently a member on the US women’s national team.
Tobin Heath
Tobin Heath is an American forward who was recently added to the US women’s soccer squad roster. She is a top player who has played for the North Carolina Tar Heels, as well the United States National team. United States Soccer Federation calls Heath "perhaps the USA’s most talented player". US Soccer named her Athlete-of-the Year in 2016.
Hope Solo
Hope Solo is a controversial figure in women's soccer, with a complex legacy. She's one of the greatest goalkeepers and has made 202 appearances for USA team. Her record is 152 clean-sheets. Solo is also well-known for her controversial opinions.
Tobin Naeher
The United States women’s football team is currently in the final stages to qualify for the World Cup. Tobin Naeher was an unexpected selection but has proven to be a valuable player on the roster. She played every minute of the match and made four saves against France in the 2-1 win. Naeher also stopped Steph Haughton's attempted penalty kick save in semis.

Tiffany McLeod
Canadian players accused Christiana Pedersen (referee) of bias following a recent controversy in the US women’s soccer match against Canada. Pedersen penalized the United States with a penalty in the 80th minutes for holding the ball inside the penalty area. Pedersen (a former World Cup referee) was not immediately available for comment.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe is a constant presence for the United States women’s national team for more than a decade. The forward is a powerhouse on and off the field. She was born in Redding and grew up playing volleyball with her older brother, twin sister, and younger brother. Rapinoe is a big success for the United States of America in recent years. She netted two goals in World Cup 2012 and another in World Cup 2015.
